SyncMyMail FAQ
Can I use individual modules or do I have to use all of the SyncMyMail components together?
SyncMyMail is designed to increase response rates and improve ROI by strategically combining different media channels in a highly coordinated and timed process. SyncMyMail is most successful when implemented as a single initiative. Your campaign can build momentum by leveraging the cumulative strengths of each component.
Can I use my own vendors?
The SyncMyMail process can easily integrate with existing vendors.
Can I do a trial? What does it involve?
SyncMyMail is currently offering trial campaigns at promotional prices and volumes. Please contact us for additional information.
Who owns the data?
SyncMyMail customers retain all ownership and rights to their data. It will, however, be necessary for SyncMyMail to use that data in accordance with the guidelines in our
Privacy Policy.
SyncMyMail will never sell or re-use any data collected during the course of a campaign.
Does the process work for business to consumer (B2C) as well as business to business (B2B)?
Yes, the SyncMyMail program is effective for any organization trying to increase response rates, raise funds, drive revenue or get a message across to a group of people.
What is an Intelligent Mail Barcode (IMB) and why is it important?
An IMB is a barcode added to every piece of direct mail that is sent out in the SyncMyMail program. Since timing an important campaign around the United States Postal Service schedule can be daunting, the IMB is important because it allows us to know exactly when and where every single piece of mail is delivered.
What is a “shortcode”?
Short codes (also known as short numbers) are special telephone numbers that can be used to address SMS messages from or to mobile phones. SyncMyMail can work with your existing short code (if you have one) or we can provide you with one for the duration of a campaign.
Can I send video?
Yes, it is possible for you to include a video as part of the mobile or e-mail user experience. SyncMyMail will simply include a link to an IP address for the video as part of our messaging.
Can a SmartMessage be forwarded to friends, family, etc?
Yes, a SmartMessage can be forwarded and it will work just as it does on your phone.
